Privacy Policy
Version 2026-09-10, effective 10 September 2026
This explains what IfStats collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
1. What we collect
Your account. Email address, a hashed password, and the date you accepted these documents along with the IP address you accepted from.
Your trades. For each closed trade your EA reports: ticket number, open and close times, instrument, direction, size, prices, stop loss and take profit, commission, swap, profit, the order comment, and the magic number. We also store your broker account number and any broker name you enter.
Technical. IP addresses, times your EA last reported, and normal web server logs.
Payment. If you subscribe, our payment processor collects your name, billing address and card details.
2. What we never collect
Your broker credentials. The EA does not ask for or receive your broker password or investor password. We cannot log in to your broker account, place trades, or move money.
Your card details. Card data goes straight to our payment processor and never reaches our servers. We hold only a customer reference and which plan you are on.
3. Why we hold it
To run the service you asked for: recording your trades, showing them back to you, and keeping them available over time. To take payment for paid plans. To contact you about your account. To keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your trading data for advertising.
4. Who else sees it
We use a small number of providers to run the service, and they see only what they need to:
- Stripe processes payments and holds your billing details.
- Amazon Web Services sends our email.
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site and filters abusive traffic.
- Google reCAPTCHA helps keep bots off our forms.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it. Otherwise we do not share your trading data with anyone.
5. Data you choose to publish
If you create a public track record link, the trades you include in it become public to anyone with the address. That is the purpose of the feature, and it is entirely your choice. Revoking a link stops it working, but we cannot recall copies other people already made.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your trade history indefinitely, on purpose. Brokers routinely delete MetaTrader account history after a few months, and preserving yours is the point of the service. Downgrading or canceling changes how far back you can see; it does not delete anything.
You can override that. Ask us to delete your data and we will delete it, including your trade history. That is permanent and we cannot undo it, and it is your decision rather than ours.
7. Your rights
Whatever your location, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- give you a copy of your trade data;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your account and your data.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including under the GDPR or under California law. We apply the list above to everyone rather than by location. Contact us and we will action requests promptly.
8. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, to protect forms against cross site request forgery, and to remember your display preferences. These are necessary for the site to work. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. The keys your EA uses are stored only as a fingerprint, which is why we can never show you a key again after you create it and why you generate a new one instead.
No service can promise perfect security, but we do not hold the two things worth stealing: your broker credentials and your card number.
10. Children
IfStats is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Each version has a version number and effective date at the top of this page, and we record which version you accepted. We will tell you about significant changes rather than changing it quietly.
12. Contact
